International freight container tracking scenario

Based in Saudi Arabia, this customer is an international freight forwarding service provider operating cross-border logistics services. Their daily operations involve managing containers across multiple routes and handover points, requiring reliable control over container status throughout the transportation process.

Goal

The primary goal of this project was to reduce safety-related incidents and response gaps when transporting high-value containers, while maintaining operational efficiency across existing logistics workflows.

Challenge

In international freight forwarding operations, containers often remain out of direct supervision for extended periods. For this customer, limited visibility and delayed response capabilities increased security risks—particularly when containers experienced unexpected delays or were exposed to potential tampering during transit.

SYSTECH’s Solution

To address these challenges, SYSTECH implemented a solution centered around UC1 Smart Container Lock GPS Tracker, an asset tracking and security device designed to help secure and monitor containers during long-haul transportation.

By integrating UC1 into the customer’s existing system through API connectivity, SYSTECH enabled centralized monitoring of container status without requiring major changes to established operations. This approach allowed the customer to strengthen container security, improve asset visibility throughout extended transit periods, and respond more effectively to abnormal events.
